Activity Record
An hourly journal for iPhone and iPad

What were you doing, and how did it feel?

Each hour, jot down what you were doing and rate one feeling you choose to follow, from 0 to 100. After a few days, patterns you could not quite see start to show up.

Free. No ads or tracking. Everything you log stays on your device.

Three small steps, once an hour

Logging takes a few seconds. The value builds up quietly over days.

1

Note what you were doing

A few words is plenty. Morning walk, team meeting, dinner with a friend. The app remembers what you type so common activities are one tap next time.

2

Rate one feeling you follow

Pick a single feeling to track, like stressed or content, and rate how strong it was from 0 to 100. You can add other feelings for the hour too, but one is all it takes.

3

Watch the patterns appear

After about a week, Insights shows which activities, times of day, and days of the week tend to go with feeling more or less of it, described in plain sentences.

Try it in your browser

See a day take shape, right now

Fill out a day the same way you would in the app: choose a feeling to follow from the feelings wheel, note each hour, and rate how strong that feeling was. The intensity map fills in as you go. Everything stays in your browser, on your device.

Made to be quick, calm, and yours

Everything is built around one idea: notice your own days without any fuss.

An intensity map of your days

A colored grid of hours by day shows where a feeling ran high or low at a glance. Tap any square to open that hour.

Plain-language insights

No scores or verdicts. Just clear observations like which mornings tended to feel calmer, and which activities showed up alongside tougher hours.

Reminders that fit your day

Set up to twelve daily reminders. Tap one and you land right on the current hour, ready to log.

A one-tap widget

A home screen and lock screen widget shows today's count and opens the current hour with a single tap.

Your data leaves with you

Export a designed PDF, a CSV spreadsheet, or a full backup you can restore later or carry to a new device.

Private by design

No account and no servers. If you want a backup across devices, optional sync uses your own private iCloud, which we never see.

Face ID lock

Keep your record for your eyes only with an optional Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode lock.

English and Spanish

Switch the whole app, including the widget, between English and Spanish anytime, separate from your device language.

A note on what this is

Activity Record is a personal journal for noticing your own patterns. It is not a health or medical tool, it gives no advice, and it makes no judgments. Insights only describe what you have logged, in plain language, and leave the meaning to you.

Common questions

Short answers about the app and your privacy.

Where is my data stored?

On your device. If you turn on iCloud sync in Settings, it is also stored in your own private iCloud so it stays backed up and synced across your devices. No one else can see it, and there are no servers in between.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign up and no login. You open the app and start logging.

Can I change the feeling I follow?

Yes, from Home or Settings. Ratings you already saved keep the feeling they were rated under, so you can switch anytime without losing history.

How do reminders work?

You can set up to twelve daily reminders in Settings. They are scheduled on your device, and tapping one can open the current hour ready to log.

Is there a widget?

Yes. A home screen and lock screen widget shows how many hours you have logged today and opens the current hour with one tap.

What can I export?

A designed PDF, a CSV spreadsheet, or a full backup file you can restore later or move to a new device. Your record is yours to take with you.

Is it really free?

Yes. Activity Record is free, with no ads and no tracking.

What languages does it support?

English and Spanish, switchable in Settings, including the widget. The in-app language is separate from your device language.

Is this a health or medical app?

No. Activity Record is a personal journal for noticing your own patterns. It gives no advice and makes no judgments, and Insights only describe what you have logged, in plain language.
